Anime Otakus and other news

Hey there eveybody,
Firstaval: Happy new Year and may whoever or whatever you're believing in, be with you.
Right at the outset I have to make an annoncement: There is this site (www.anime-otakus.de/), you maybe know it gathering from the mascots. I write (and draw) Anime-/Mangastuff with the great and powerful Shino Bakura, to protect the world against bad, overhyped Anime and Manga X3
If you're interested take a look...
Besides this I am planning on improving my drawing skills. From the 6th to the 19th January I will go to a preparatory course (create an application portfolio to (hopefully) study design in the near future). So don't be surprised about finding naturalistic art in my gallery then
What else will happen?
Tenshi no Zumen will go to the Leipzig book fair and participate at Manga Audition, Myself plans on finally getting the driver licence and earn enough money to pay for my studies.

Tomorrow I'm off then ^^
Three weeks with
in Denmark. After this long time of working in the museum and with Tenshi no Zumen I think it would be nice to have all day for drawing and beeing creative (just for me)
So If I am back, there are pretty much new pictures to admire

Vernissage Tenshi no Zumen

My Manga-drawing-course „Tenshi no Zumen" in english „angels drawings" opened his first Vernissage (after one year of hard work). 22th june 2012 the art of the until now unknown artist was published. Older pictures showed the improvement of all young artists. Besides the aims and methods of the group was presented in an almost improvised speech of me ^^
Despite of the fixed endtime at 19.30, many guests stayed to swap ideas on drawing manga. As in the lessons also on this evening the focus was on the social side of art. Many contacs are established.
Desicive for me is that it not ended in sort of a competition. By helping each other the group improved a lot so I am very proud of teaching such a great group.

I. What is your favourite language?
Hmm...I think French sounds nice, but my favorite language to speak and to hear is Japanese
II. And your favourite writing system?
Kana (Hiragana and Katakana) but for better reading use latin, I'm still learning Japanese. ^^
III. What is your favourite period in history?
Hmm...difficult question. I think i'ts the time of the French Revolution and Napoleon but as a women it's actually the future (If this counts).
IV. Your favourite kind of books? Explain why and name an example.
Thats a battle between historical books and Fantasy/Science Fiction.
I like it to read something that in a similar way happened in reality. But I also like to experience new ways of life systems.
The book "Desiree" (Annemarie Selinko) is an example for both (to name another way of illustrating new systems I take "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" by Douglas Adams).
V. What is your favourite science, why and what developments do you expect within the next ten years?
"Physics is the only real science. The rest are just stamp collecting."-Ernest Rutherford
I leave it to Kseli what kind of developments are made in the aerospace. ^^
And I hope in the future some people find modern ways to cure cancer or AIDS.
Otherwise I hope the equalitiy between men and women advances and we could find a new option for capitalism e.g. to help people in the other countries. Also the german social market economy needs neither privatisation and new laws instead of the unfair HARTZ IV.

Wikipedia. If you don't know why, search it there...
VII. British or American English?
British, of course.
VIII. What is your favourite genre of art?
Don't know how to understand this question. If it means the differant arts it's Drawing or Painting or Literature, but the other ones have their charm too.
If it means what kind of Drawings, I would say everything that could illustrate the fantasy of the artist in a way I understand and comprehend it. If you look into my gallery most of the things are in Manga-Style (if you generalise it because there is no "typical Manga-Style"), because it's the best way for me in the moment to represent my skills. I want to learn more "Genres" to could do this better, so I think I couldn't answer this question in black and white.
IX. What do you think about the state of the world and what is, in your opinion, the greatest problem of the decade? And will Europe finally unite?
There are so many problems but the most representive is the unfairness of being rich or poor. I think our generation has a lot to do to change this. I do not know what happens in the future and so there would be many surprises bur I hope we came step by step closer to peace in any way. If it is by unite or by anything other... There is room for many ideas and I hope of being part of a positive development in art and thinking.
X. What is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow? (trick question)
What do you mean? An African or European swallow? Well, you have to know these things when you're a king, you know.
Roughly I think 11 meters per second, or 24 miles per hour, beating its wings 7-9 times per second (rather than 43).

Hi everybody,
It's been a long time I write something here ^^
So for those who didn't know yet, my Napoleon Manga is currently readable in my gallery. Unfortunately it's written in german, but maybe I found the time to translate it.
Any time soon I need to learn for my Abitur so I can't draw big projects in the next time. But don't be afraid, you have still the Napoleon Manga and the pictures I draw besides...
At last I want to thank all of you for watching and faving my pictures
